Love Island stars Gemma Owen and Luca Bish have hit back at split claims - but he said she has "changed" since they left the villa.
The couple appeared on ITV's Good Morning Britain today, where they discussed life after the villa. The pair came runner up behind eventual winners Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Davide Sanclimenti.
Since the end of the show, Luca admitted to having a row with his beau but the pair appear to have kissed and made up following their disagreement at the reunion party event and put on a united front as they appeared on the breakfast show today.
Gemma lives in Cheshire, whilst Luca's family is from Brighton - and the pair appeared together today live in the studio.
Speaking on the ITV show today, Luca said: "You've changed a little. For the better, she's come more out of her shell. When I saw you with your mum and that," as Gemma shot him a look before sharing how close she is to her mum Louise.
The pair also hit back at claims they were on the rocks, as Gemma insisted they were "official without the label".
"I will ask her," Luca vowed, as he promised to make them boyfriend and girlfriend soon.
It comes after Luca admitted to a frosty exchange with Gemma after the pair were seen looking rather glum following the reunion party, where two other Islanders rowed and producers had to "step in".
Sensing some tension between the lovebirds, a photographer quipped to Luca: "You've got your hands full there!"
And the reality TV star quickly agreed, adding: "Oh don't mate! She's got the right hump with me!"
However, the pair had yet to make it to the 'girlfriend and boyfriend' stage, as Luca quipped he's still waiting for "written consent" from Gemma's family including mum Louise and dad Michael Owen.
"Yeah mate, it's coming. I'm just waiting on written consent from her mum aren't I?" he quipped during an Instagram live with Jacques O'Neill, "Louise is lovely. Me and Gemma are good, I'm seeing her tonight - we're getting some food."
Following the show, Gemma admitted she liked Luca even more now they were out the show.
She added: "I would say the more we’ve got to know each other, we’re so similar. We’re pretty much the same person. It’s so nice. We’re both stubborn and have little bickers. It’s just everything. A best friend in a partner is something that I’ve always wanted."
Whilst Luca shared: "My favourite thing about her is no matter how I felt I would turn around and she’d just give me a hug or something and I would smile. I’ve never had that with anyone as I’d never want to show emotion in front of any other partner."
