Luca Bish had expressed concern about the public's reaction to his time on Love Island - long before he entered the villa.
The fishmonger is coupled up with Gemma Owen on the ITV2 show, and over the past few weeks, viewers have been expressing concerns about his and other boy's 'misogynistic' behaviour in the villa
Before he arrived in the villa, Luca had admitted he was concerned about the public's reactions to his antics on the show, as he admitted his nerves for one specific challenge - the Twitter one which sees Islanders exposed during a special game led by fan tweets.
Speaking to The Mirror and other press before his villa stint, he said: "It's probably the most revision I've ever done for a job or exam or anything like that. I've been watching eight seasons all day."
And asked which part of the show he was most nervous for, he added: "The one where the public say stuff about you like 'he was naughty in Casa' and you're like 'oh f**k I've been caught out here'. Yeah that's probably the biggest challenge [I'm nervous for]."
Before he arrived on the show, Luca insisted he wasn't worried about fame - and if he had to return to his old job he wouldn't mind.
"I don't really care [about being famous]. If I end up in the fish market, I don't care," he shared, "I was happy then and I'll be happy after. I'm not too fussed about what happens. If I end up back selling fish with my dad, then I end up back there."
Gemma and Luca rowed during last night's episode, which saw him storm out of the villa.
In the heated exchange, Luca insisted he wasn't in a mood with Gemma over the raunchy airplane themed challenge, as she insisted he was, hitting back to say: "You were pushing me off, had a face like a slapped a**... are you 12?!"
"It's obviously not nice to see, but it's a challenge so I can't exactly stay annoyed at you for it, it was just literally..." he said back, as Gemma rumbled him, adding: "So you can't exactly 'stay' annoyed at me for it? So you were annoyed at it?"
Luca accused her of looking into every word he was saying, and as she repeated her questions, he said: "F**k off Gem," before getting up mid chat, removing his microphone and walking out the villa, as he told her: "It's doing my head in."
As part of their duty of care programme, Love Island bosses specifically offer support to the Islanders on public reaction to their time in the villa, as well as support and advice on being trolled.
