Love Island's Laura Anderson appears to take swipe at Gary Lucy with cryptic message

Laura Anderson appears to have taken a swipe at ex-boyfriend Gary Lucy in a cryptic post on social media.

The former Love Island star is yet to confirm the real reason why she separated from her other half, who she announced last week she is expecting her first child with.

Over the weekend, dad-of-four Gary broke his silence and said he doesn't want to move to Scotland from his home in Essex.

And just hours after he spoke out, Laura shared a quote on Instagram to her 1.5 million followers and fans which reads: "I've been choosing peace over people. So far no regrets."

On Saturday the reality star warned people on her page that she would not be standing for any abusive comments and said anyone who is unkind to her "would be blocked".

Gary says he still love Laura and that he is "gutted" about their split. He explained: "Laura did want me to move but I have my responsibilities here.

"I have four kids and all the things that go along with that so it’s very difficult, if not impossible, to uproot at this time."

Gary has two sons and two daughters with his former wife Natasha.

The Hollyoaks hunk met Laura while they were filming Channel 4' Celebs Go Dating last summer and they appeared to be getting along just fine.

At Christmas, she shared a post declaring her love for him. But just last week, the pair announced they had separated after news broke they are expecting the baby.
