Love Island's Jacques shifts attention to bromance with Luca after giving up on Paige

Love Island's Jacques O'Neill has joined TIikTok with a video dedicated to his best pal on the show, Luca Bish.

The rugby star, 23, quit the villa earlier this month, but still managed to forge a firm friendship with the fishmonger - despite him dating his ex Gemma Owen.

Jacques has now taken to the popular content sharing platform, sharing a montage of the pair larking about on the show with the caption: "Missing my boy cant wait for him get out!"

The adorable video is accompanied by the song Brother by Kodaline with lyrics including: "Though we don't share the same blood you're my brother and I love you that's the truth..."

The heartfelt vid went down a storm with fans, including Luca's family, who posted on behalf of the star: "Brother for life."

Others replied saying Luca could do with his friend right now.

One said: "Feel like Luca has lost a little bit of himself since you left."

Another posted: "He don’t deserve the hate he’s getting, feel for him tbh."

While a third said: "He needed you tonight you could tell he just needed a hug from you."

Luca has been having a tricky time of late after he stormed off the set after his beau Gemma Owen licked Adam Collard.

The fishmonger was seen shoving the dressage rider when she turned to him before admitting in the Beach Hut he wasn't keen on seeing her lick the competition.

Luca ended up leaving villa temporarily as Gemma called him out to the other Islanders for his behaviour.

The moment sparked a flood of Twitter complaints with many saying the reality star should be removed from the show.

However, Luca's family posted on Instagram : “9/10 weeks of no contact with family. It's a crazy intense environment where emotions are heightened.

“Learning to have disagreements and resolve them it is part of all successful relationships. Society preaches men not to bottle things up and to open up???

“So proud of how vulnerable and in touch with his emotions he's been. Nothing but real."

Jacques is also no doubt proud of his pal and has thanked his own family and followers for their 'love and support' on his return to social media.

The rugby star, who quit playing for Rugby League side Castleford Tigers in order to appear on Love Island, took to Twitter telling fans he'd be 'in a darker place' without them.

Jacques stunned viewers when he left the show, citing mental health reasons after clashing with rival Adam Collard over partner Paige Thorne.

As he bid farewell to the villa, the reality star said he "massively underestimated" the impact the show would have on him, after his family revealed he had ADHD while on the show.

Summing up his experience, he said: "The last two weeks was definitely the worst I’ve ever felt in my life."
