Jacques O'Neill has taken a cheeky swipe at his former love interest Paige Thorne and her new flame Adam Collard.
The 23-year-old, who sensationally quit the show weeks from the end, fired the jab on Instagram Live this weekend.
He appeared with Love Island finalists Luca Bish, 23, and Dami Hope, 26, and he didn't hold his tongue when the awkward questions arrived.
Fans were quick to grill the hunk and asked Jacques what he thought about the relationship between Paige, 24, and Adam, 26.
The rugby player responded: "Well, her mum seems to love him doesn't she? He's in there with the fam!"
His sarcastic words was in reference to the Meet the Parents episode of this year's series, as Paige was visited by her parents, and, upon asking them what they thought of Adam, her mum savagely told her: "I'm not buying it."
Paige asked her what she meant and the parent compared her relationship with Adam to her one with Jacques.
She told her: "The way you were with Jacques was completely different."
There has already been split rumours - something both the Islanders have laughed off.
Jacques later added to the fan: "Nah, Paige and Adam seem really happy together. Best of luck to them," before Luca quipped: "Sound well sincere there, mate!"
Since leaving the villa, Jacques also appears to have deleted all Instagram photos and clips linking him with Paige.
Later on the Instagram Live, the mega fit athlete exposed the "terrible" eating plan he devised during his brief stint in the luxury villa this summer.
He admitted he ate "nothing but hummus and crisps for lunch and tea" during his spell on the popular ITV2 dating series.
The Islander walked out in mid-July after gathering the contestants around the firepit.
Jacques said: “Lately, I feel like I can't be myself. I'm not going to fake it. I'm going to be leaving today.
“I just can't stick around and not be myself, it's not fair to me and it's definitely not fair to Paige. If that means removing myself from the situation and waiting for Paige, that's what I'm going to do.”
