Love Island newboy Jack has wasted no time in letting his fellow islanders know that his dad is famous singer Ronan Keating.
The son of Ronan and Yvonne Connolly entered the show on Friday night and will be seen getting to know the girls on Sunday night's episode. In Casa Amor, Gemma and Jack are cooling off at the side of the pool and the topic of conversation turns to families.
Jack says: “My mum and my little sister are big into show jumping and everything like that. I know you’re big into it as well.” Gemma says: “ Oh ok, oh wow!” She then asks: “So your mum is a showjumper? So what does your dad do?”

Jack replies: “He’s a singer.” Gemma asks: “A well-known singer?”
Jack answers: “ Yeah he is, you know Ronan Keating? That’s the old man”. Noting how important her family is to her, Gemma asks: “So you’re really family orientated?”
Jack agrees, saying: “I’m very family orientated. It would be something I’d definitely look for in a girl. I’ve got a big crazy family back home.”
Meanwhile back in the main villa, Luca says: “The girls are out! They’re having a nice time, we’re not worrying about them. Have your nice time and we’ll have our nice time.” Davide then predicts there will be “six sexy girls to have fun with us and enjoy our time”.
The boys all pack suitcases for the girls which includes Andrew packing his hoodie and ring for Tasha as well as her teddy. Luca packs his fish flops and ring for Gemma. Jacques packs his eye mask for Paige. Before they go to bed, they continue discussions.
Jacques says: “I am not gonna find someone better than Paige in three days, give me a year and I don’t think I’d find anyone suited more.”
Luca agrees: “I’ve been waiting a year for a girl like Gemma.” Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on Virgin Media Two and Virgin Media Player
