Love Island's Indiyah Polack waiting for famous men to slide in DMs after villa stint

Indiyah Polack is waiting for famous men to slide into her DMs after Love Island.

The 23-year-old waitress from London is convinced she'll have lots of famous men after her following her stint on the ITV show, as she shared her hopes for life after her time on the ITV2 programme.

Indiyah likes a traditional and chivalrous man whose an old romantic at heart, but she hasn't ruled out opting for a famous man once she makes her exit from the show, which kicks off Monday June 6 at 9pm on ITV2.

Quizzed about her dating history, she said it was "random" - but didn't rule out finding love after the show too.

In a chat with The Mirror and other press she was asked if she had any famous men in her DMs, to which she replied: "Not yet, not yet. But I'm sure they'll want to after, you know, they won't want to miss out on this. Not yet but we shall see."

However, she insists she's not going on the show to be famous or bag herself a long list of partnerships and deals.

She said: "I wouldn't say it's something I aspire towards, it's something that if it happens, it happens. If it doesn't, it doesn't. I don't know what's going to happen when I come out of the villa. Again, it's just something that I want to take as it comes along.

"So if I face challenges in the future, I'll deal with it. I just want to look at the positives in that. If it does happen that there is overnight fame or there isn't, just take it easy and not focus too much on it because I'm me and it's just about me and not about the fame."

For Indiyah, she insists the experience on the show is far more important than anything else.

"It's about me and the experience and how I feel. I don't want that to make or break my experience," she said.

However, there's one thing she's not looking forward to - the challenges.

Asked what she's most nervous about, she said: "Some of the challenges, some of them are quite disgusting.

"That food when where you've got to like spit food in each other's mouths, I'm not going to lie, I don't want to do it. But if it happens, it happens - I have to take part. I look at some of the challenges and I think you need to get it off the list."

*Love Island starts at 9pm Monday 6th June on ITV2 and ITV Hub. Episodes are available the following morning on BritBox.
