Love Island's Iain Stirling spotted in Glasgow with Strictly star and celeb pal

Scottish comedian and much-loved Love Island narrator Iain Stirling was spotted in Glasgow on Saturday night among some famous faces, following his stand-up gig in the city.

The Love Island regular was in Glasgow on Saturday evening on his city stop of UK tour Failing Upwards, and made some time to catch up with some friends afterwards.

Posting on Twitter, the funnyman wrote: "Thank you GLASGOW for a lovely night last night. Lovely meeting some fans after the show. #s****bag"

In the photo alongside Iain is Masked Singer host Joel Dommett, and Strictly star Aljaz Skorjanec, both pals of the Scottish comedian.

Garnering over 100 likes on the social media platform, Twitter users shared their support for the Scotsman, writing: "Great show @IainDoesJokes hope you got your Thing!"

Another said: "He totally s*** it. Crackin’ show!"

BAFTA-winning comedian Iain Stirling is best known as the brilliantly funny voice of the hit reality show Love Island (ITV2), which is now in its seventh series.

Following his success on Love Island, Iain appeared in series 8 of Taskmaster on Dave, and took on the role of host for ITV2’s comedy entertainment show, CelebAbility, now in its fifth series.

His sitcom, Buffering, a brand new comedy written, created by and starring Iain debuted on ITV2 in 2021.

Iain’s book Not Ready to Adult Yet was published through HarperCollins, along with a companion podcast of the same name.

Iain was in Edinburgh on Sunday night for his next instalment of the tour, and travels to Falkirk on Monday night for his final Scottish date of the stand-up gigs.

Iain Stirling will perform his Failing Upwards show at Falkirk Town Hall on Monday, April 11, rescheduled from March 25, 2021, and tickets are still available here.
