Gemma Owen was reminded of a harsh jibe she made against Luca Bish in the early days of Love Island as Laura Whitmore caused a rather awkward moment between the pair during Sunday's reunion.
While Gemma and Luca were together for much of their time on the ITV dating show, they weren't a couple in the first few days, with Gemma with Liam and then Davide, while Luca was paired with Paige by the public.
However, sparks soon flew between Michael Owen's daughter and the Brighton fishmonger and they were an item before the end of week one, staying very much an item right up to the final, where they finished second to Ekin-Su and Davide.

Like many other Islanders, other than Jacques who snubbed the reunion, Gemma and Luca joined presenter Laura for a chat as the Love Island cast joined together in the same room. And, after pushing them on what the future holds and when they'll become official, Laura stirred the pot slightly by reminding Gemma of a remark she made on her first night in the villa.
The clip in question started playing on screen, with Gemma coolly sniping "That's unfortunate," when Luca told several of the other Islanders that his name was Bish. After having to watch that back, while Luca sat next to her, Gemma was asked by Laura if she still didn't like it, to which the 19-year-old replied that it was 'growing' on her.
However, she obviously hasn't warmed to Luca's surname too much, as she then added: "I still don't love it, but it's OK. Definitely, if got married it would definitely have to still be Gemma Owen-Bish," as Luca conceded: "It has a better ring to it, to be fair. I ain't got a choice probably."
In the aftermath of the reunion being filmed, Luca admitted to photographers waiting outside that Gemma "had the hump with him."
