Love Island's Gemma Owen in 'flashing' scandal as viewers left worried about her dad watching

Gemma Owen had Love Island viewers reacting with horror after she 'flashed' Luca Bish on Wednesday night's show., with plenty of others concerned what Michael Owen would make of it.

Right after dad Michael reacted to her 'sexy' dance a night earlier, 19-year-old Gemma had fans of the ITV programme talking again with her impromptu high jinks which happened as she was spotted on the terrace of the Love Island villa wrapped in a white towel. Her appearance prompted Luca to whistle up in her direction and it was then that Gemma looked to drop her towel for a brief moment.

Producers chose to leave the moment in the show, rather than editing it out and, upon noticing it, plenty of viewers flocked to Twitter surprised by what they saw. One reacted: "GEMMA DID NOT JUST FLASH LUCA!" A second wrote: "Did Gemma just flash Luca? Inappropriate behaviour tbh.," with a third commenting: "did gemma just flash feels a bit dodgy??

Many others were quick off the mark to air their opinions, with others were left 'concerned' that dad Michael would be watching and what he would make of it. One tweeted: "Gemma giving Luca a flash. Michael Owen will love that," while another remarked: "How the f**k are you gonna flash someone on national television. And your dad is watching this…. Nah Gemma is just odd."

As well as Gemma 'flashing' Luca, Wednesday's episode saw her choose to stick with him in the latest recoupling, despite some obvious tension between them over the last few days after he was told her head 'could turn,' for another guy.

A teaser for Thursday's show revealed that the two are given the keys to the Hideaway after being chosen by the other Islanders. Reacting to the decision in the Beach Hut, Gemma enthuses: "Finally! I feel like it has been a long time coming. So nice it’s just gonna be us two. I’m just buzzing.”
