Since Love Island kicked off fans have been waiting for the moment Gemma Owen spoke about her famous dad. However on last night's show Gemma finally spoke about footballing legend Michael Owen in front of her fellow islanders.
She finally spoke about him during a chat with all of the islanders as they got ready for the evening's celebrations. In a quick moment Gemma was asked about her famous dad.
The Mirror reported that as the girls got glammed up for the evening bombshell Antigoni asked Gemma about her dad, She said: "Sorry if I sound ignorant, but is your dad quite famous and very well known he played for England right?"

Fellow islander Ekin-Su then asked Gemma if she knew the famous David Beckham sons. Gemma then revealed that she went to nursery with them and that left the fellow islanders stunned.
Following the revelation fans flocked to social media to share their shock. Fans fail to believe that it took over 20 episodes for Gemma to mention him.
One fan said: "Gemma moment has happened they have finally asked about her dad #LoveIsland." Whilst another added: "How is Gemma just casually saying that #LoveIsland."
Another fan said: "Not them finally mentioning on TV that Gemma’s dad is famous they must not be allowed to mention his name #LoveIsland." A fourth fan said: "THEY FINALLY MENTIONED MICHAEL OWEN AHAHAHA #loveisland."
The revelation comes just days after dumped Love Island star Ikenna Ekwonna claimed that the islanders knew about Gemma's dad just days after entering the villa. He appeared on Love Island: After Sun following his dumping from the villa.
He said: "You know what's mad? We didn't really know until like the second or third day, but I don't think the girls knew that the guys knew."
Michael has been supportive of Gemma's choice to join the Love Island villa. However he was left embarrassed when Gemma performed a sexy dance for partner Luca Bish.
Taking to Twitter he posted a single emoji which had a person hiding their face. His tweet was soon picked up by fans and some fans joked that he chose a bad time to watch the show.
