Love Island 's Gemma Owen has finally referenced her famous father in the villa. The 19-year-old, who is the eldest daughter of football legend Michael Owen, has so far failed to name drop her dad, but spoke about him during a task in the Beach Hut.
The dressage rider, who is coupled-up on the show with fishmonger Luca Bish, 23, hasn't told her fellow contestants who her dad is during any of the episodes, so fans were excited whe he finally got a mention during Love Island's spin-off show Unseen Bits, which airs on Saturday nights.
Although she didn't name him, Gemma did quote the BT Sport pundit during a segment where the Islanders were asked to do their best celebrity impressions, reports Manchester Evening News.

Speaking in the privacy of the Beach Hut, Gemma said: "There's no way I'm going to do my dad, but people always do the classic, 'If they don't score, then they don't win.'"
She added: "Or something like that. It's some bulls**t or whatever."
Reacting to the mention, @florencegraceuk said on Twitter: "Omg Gemma finally referenced her celeb dad in unseen bits!" While @libbymmmeaney added: "Gemma’s finally mentioned her dad." And @fzyguitarz tweeted: "Gemma finally mentioning her dad so proud".
Fans have been left wondering if the contestants know Gemma's dad is Michael Owen ever since an awkward exchange between Luca and Gemma. During a chat on the terrace early on in the series, Luca asked Gemma: "Who do you feel like your family would get on best with out of all the boys in here?"
The 19-year-old replied: "You. Because you're sporty and you're into football and into racing. I think my dad would have stuff in common with you."
"Would your dad and me go out and do things together?" Luca asked: "Or does he not get close [with your boyfriends]?"
Gemma responded: "He was quite close with my first boyfriend and I think he appreciates a guy who is into sports and all that kind of stuff. So I heard you like talking about football and racing and all that, so I'm like hmm."
Gemma failed to namedrop Michael and without knowing his true identity, Luca said: "I enjoy playing football. I know what I'm talking about with football as well. Let's see if he knows what he's talking about."
