Gemma Owen became the subject of a heated argument in the Love Island villa during Friday’s episode of the ITV dating show.
Things quickly escalated when the group sat down for Movie Night, where they all had to endure cringeworthy footage of their time in the villa so far. And needless to say, there were some revelations that rocked the boat.
19-year-old Gemma was the subject of one particular clip entitled ‘she’s just not that into you’ that showed her having a flirty conversation with Billy - much to the fury of her beau Luca. The clip also showed Gemma agreeing with Dami’s future prediction of her romance with Luca, The Mirror reports .

Another part of the clip showed Gemma sitting with Billy and asking him: “Do you like how the beanbags have been placed?” in reference to Luca sitting on a beanbag in the garden watching the pair. And it’s safe to say the footage didn’t go down well with Luca.
Confronting Billy, he fumed: "You were f****** cracking on with her. Mate, that was f****** flirting, don't deny it, you were f****** flirting.”
As Billy tried to deny the accusations, Luca ranted: "I don't care, you can crack on, it's Love Island but it was flirting and I was made out to be a f****** idiot for it!"
After the heated confrontation, Luca continued venting about the situation to Andrew. “Billy started saying, 'oh mate there's nothing here'. Mate, you were trying to crack on, shut the f*** up!” he whispered.
Luca added: “I can’t stand f****** liars. I got made out to be overprotective or whatever, mate I saw you crack on. If you wanna flirt, I'll flirt, drop me a f****** bombshell in here now!"
And the fallout is far from over - Sunday night’s episode promises to be another explosive one as Movie Night continues. In a preview clip Luca was seen telling the boys: "If she wants to f****** play it down to me, I will f****** explode!"
Love Island viewers took to social media to defend Luca, with one Twitter user pointing out: “They made Luca think he was crazy for worrying about Billy and now he was proven correct."
“Luca is 100% right,” another fan said. “Gemma made him out to be over protective and seeing something that wasn’t there.”
Love Island continues at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub.
