Love Island stars Gemma Owen and Luca Bish have split up, the former has confirmed.
The split follows weeks of speculation about their strained romance.
In recent days, Luca attended a number of red carpet events without Gemma, who he met on the Virgin Media reality show earlier this year.

Their split comes just weeks after sources close to both Gemma and Luca denied split rumours, Mirror UK reports.
Tonight, Gemma has confirmed the news. She wrote on her Instagram: "To all my followers, I wanted to let you know that Luca and I are no longer in a relationship.
"It wasn't an easy decision but ultimately this is what is best for both of us right now.
"Many of you have been on this journey with us from the very beginning, and I wanted to thank you for your continued support as we start new chapters."

At the time of writing, Luca has not publicly posted about the split.
Luca recently spoke about their relationship at the TV Choice Awards, explaining: "I think you're naive to think you're going to go in there to find love.
"Listen, it's called Love Island but I never went in there thinking I'd Gemma, I went in there for a fun time, we had that and on top of that, I've met a girl that I couldn't ask any more from," he told On Demand.
Discussing their relationship, the former fishmonger appeared coy when he was quizzed over Gemma's whereabouts, explaining that she was "meant to be in America" but her trip was "cancelled".
Recently fellow islander Paige Thorne suggested that only two couples who left the show this year are actually in a relationship, insinuating that the others are simply staging their romance for work purposes.
A source close to Gemma and Luca revealed that this couldn't be further from the truth for the dressage rider and semi-pro footballer.

They told us at the time: "Luca and Gemma are closer than ever, they don't feel the need to ham it up on social media every day.
"Both have lots going on but they're staying together most nights and when they do have to be apart, they are constantly on the phone with each other."
Our source went on to say: "There is lots of talk and rumours about a showmance amongst this year's contestants but it certainly isn't Luca and Gemma that everyone is talking about."
Gemma had been slammed by fans during their last social media appearance, with some claiming she had been "bossing" Luca around throughout their brief romance.
Just two days before announcing their split, the pair were seen in a YouTube video discussing their relationship, which is believed to have been filmed several days before going live.
A clip saw the couple bicker over whether they enjoy going out or staying in, with Gemma commenting: "We like an early night, we are not really party people are we?"
However, Luca quickly responded: "We love a party, we do love a party", before Gemma interrupted him, shouting: "No we don't! You love a party."
Fans slammed the dressage rider with one claiming she had "0 respect for her man", before. a second wrote: "Thought I was the only one seeing this. Everybody is only on Luca but she is very controlling and too authoritative."
"She's so bossy and he's so nice to her and has to agree with everything she says," acknowledged a third.
