Love Island's Gemma Owen 'already won' as she's set to cash in with huge Instagram deals

Love Island's Gemma could be raking in a whopping £60,000 per Insta post if the latest predictions about her earning potential are anything to go by.

The 19-year-old went on the ITV2 show looking for love, but she may not care about that when she sees how much she could make from social media.

The daughter of former England international, Michael Owen, has hit the headlines since her debut and is now said to have the highest earning potential when she leaves the show.

According to research from marketing agency 10 Yetis, the dressage rider has the ability to net £61,561 per sponsored social media post.

With more than £600,000 followers the teen's reach is vast with many fans bound to snap up whatever she's flogging.

Business savvy Gemma is already an owner of swimwear brand OG Beachwear.

Describing the company, she muses: "OG Beachwear is the brainchild of myself. I have always been ambitious and from a very young age.

"In recent years I’ve personally found it difficult to find luxurious and classy swimwear garments that have a luxury feel with a youthful edge and so this was the inspiration to create my label.

"My aim is to offer a brand that provides luxury, designer quality garments that ooze class with a hint of youth and sexiness."

As further proof of her ambition, Gemma admitted before her Love Island stint she'd love to be like make-up mogul Kylie Jenner, pointing out: "Who wouldn't want to be a billionaire?"

The teen has had string of suitors in Love Island, including current catch, fishmonger Luca Bish.

However in Sunday’s episode (3 July), when discussing her relationship with the bombshells, the influencer prompted fans to think it wouldn't be smooth sailing for the pair.

Revealing that if Luca asked her to be his girlfriend in the villa, she would say no, viewers aired their concerns.

“If Luca asks Gemma to be his gf that’s gonna be so awkward,” one viewer mused with another adding: “Not Gemma saying she doesn’t wanna be official when Luca is obsessed with her.”

However all is not lost for the fishmonger, who is also set to do very nicely when he leaves the show.

Luca has had the highest gain in followers, compared to the other Islanders and looks to set to earn a whopping £44,737.19 per sponsored post.

Nice work if you can get it!

Love Island is on ITV2 tonight at 9pm
