Love Island's Gemma and Luca's 'cautious' body language suggests they won't last

Love Island's Gemma Owen and Luca Bish are "not right for each other," according to a body language expert.

The 19-year-old daughter of Michael Owen, who hails from Chester, and the 23-year-old fishmonger from Brighton have only been coupled up for a matter of days, but an expert predicts they won't last.

Luca chose Gemma - who was previously paired with Italian stallion Davide - in the most recent re-coupling.

They later spent the night together as they got to know each other, with Luca placing an arm around Gemma as they chatted away.

According to the professional, Luca proved he was "struggling to focus" as he doesn't know if he has made the right decision or not - but only time will tell.

"This is one nervous guy! Rubbing his hand over his mouth, he shows he's not trusting what he's about to say," celebrity psychic and body language expert Inbaal Honigman said.

Inbaal added: "He's holding his hands in front of him, then behind him, not trusting what he's about to do. He is struggling to focus because he doesn't know whether the decision he made is right for him - and if the decision was right for her.

"They hug each other with only one arm each, which shows that they're both being cautious - his other hand is all the way behind his back! But those hugging arms are outstretched.

"They're both willing to give it a chance and see what happens. Slightly apart, they position themselves next to each other, and his face is a delight. To be fair, so is hers, they're excited."

It's not just their body language that suggests they won't last.

In a teaser clip for tonight's episode, Gemma calls Luca a "p***k" in the first row of the series, as things get heated between the pair.

There's set to be trouble in paradise ahead of two new arrivals, as the couple clash just days after her ex-boyfriend Jacques entered the villa.

Viewers think they have worked out that Gemma and Luca's disagreement is down to her ex.

While Luca was initially worried about what his entrance meant for them, he has since seemed reassured that Gemma and Jacques are history.

But tonight the pair come to blows around the fire pit, as it appears Gemma has done something that rattles Luca.

While details are being kept under wraps, she admits to a "mistake" and suggests there is "nothing more to it".

It's heavily hinted it is linked to Jacques - or at least that is what Love Island bosses probably want viewers to think, and it might be about something else entirely.

But something has clearly happened between Jacques' arrival and the departure of Afia Tonkmor, and fans are sure they've cracked the case.

As the clip plays out, Gemma is heard saying: "I am not..." before stopping, as the camera shows Luca rolling his eyes, clearly annoyed.

She then shouts back: "Don't roll your eyes at me you p***k, it's a genuine mistake. I'm sorry, there's nothing more to it."

*Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
