Faye Winter has revealed she suffered from poor mental health following her appearance on Love Island, as people used her fame for money.
Speaking candidly on her Instagram Stories, the 27-year-old reality star admitted to being "rinsed" by people but reassured fans she now has her life back on track.
Faye asked her followers to send in questions so she could catch up with them, with one person asking for her thoughts on Love Island and mental health.
"Love Island do as much as they can to protect your MH however, no one could ever prepare you for the show, there's physically no way to," she replied.
"I can say I'd never suffered with my MH before yet when I came out I'd never been so low, the opinions and not having the right support around me took its toll and I have no shame with saying I suffered bad!"
Faye added: "But that's absolutely no reflection on Love Island and ITV but a reflection on me, the fact I should of been saying no instead I was advised to do jobs which wasn't for me and didn't fit who I was as a person.
"I'd left everyone and everything that was familiar to me which I loved, I realised some people in my life were rinsing me and it really affected me.
"However now all of that has opened my eyes and now I couldn't be happier, I say no a lot and I'm back on track and in a healthy place."
In another post, Faye was asked about the ups and downs of her life right now.
She said the ups include "discovering a whole new world with Teddy and working with incredible brands and meeting amazing people and sharing it all with you."
Faye added: "Downs: the judgement on everything you do, wear and say.
"People using you, seeing you as pound signs and not thinking of your feelings. The fact I'm not with my friends, family and animals anymore can be really lonely."
Faye met her partner Teddy Soares, 26, on Love Island last year and they finished as runners up on the show.
She has previously been the victim of online trolling, and recently took action against one person by sending a screenshot of his abuse to his mother, employer and rugby club,
