Faye Winter spoke out about remaining ‘classy’ and ‘dignified’ throughout recent ‘big life changes’ just days after her ex, Teddy Soares, spoke out about the pair’s breakup.
The couple met on Love Island 2021 and continued to date for a year-and-half, eventually breaking up in February this year.
Teddy, 28, recently admitted that seeing the things Faye posted online is difficult for him to come to terms with, while also dropping the bombshell that he "feels he has a voice again".
Faye took to Instagram Stories on Monday, uploading a clip in which she spoke about having to “brush around things” and that she had stayed “really classy and dignified” throughout her recent ‘big life changes’.
Speaking to the camera, Faye stated: “I feel like there’s been some big life changes recently, that’s all I’m going to say.
“I feel like I’m brushing over things. I feel like I’ve done so well, I’ve stayed really classy, really dignified, if I do say so myself.
“What’s the saying where you’re brushing around things? When you’re brushing over the subject? That’s how I feel. I’m just like, ugh! Anyway, I’m going to bed now.”
Following her video upload, Faye added a picture of herself with text that read: “Thank you all. Beating around the bush and the elephant in the rooom. Love you! Thanks for sticking with me.”
It came just days after Teddy spoke out about his breakup from Faye, in which he said he found it difficult when she shared details of their breakup online.
Speaking to MailOnline, Teddy said: “[Faye] talks about me in the press and we agreed not to but I don't speak about her.
“I've never been through a public break up before so it's difficult seeing it everywhere and seeing things she posts and stuff online.”
He also went on to say that he feels like “he has a voice again“ since the couple's split.
Faye had previously spoken to The Sun in March about her split from Teddy, and how difficult it is to go through a breakup in the public eye.
She said: “I've never been in a situation where I've been in relationship in the public eye and I've had to go through a break-up in the public eye.
“So obviously it's been hard and everything that's been hard in my life post-Love Island, I've always had Teddy there to help me deal with it and visa versa, I've always helped him.”
