Love Island's Faye Winter 'almost dies' as she poses for a poolside snap with her pals

Faye Winter has shared the moment she "almost died" whilst on holiday with her pals.

The Love Island star, 27, has been enjoying the Greek sun as she drank poolside with her friends Liberty Poole, Sharon Gaffka, Kaz Kamwi and AJ Rawlings.

Yet things took a turn as the 2021 contestant was holding a bottle of bubbles for them to enjoy, when it suddenly popped open itself.

Faye could be heard screaming in the clip as the cork flew into the air, shocking her and the others.

She then held her head as she screamed at the surprise incident.

Faye posted a clip of the moment it happened and wrote: "I also almost died," and tagged her pals.

The reality TV favourite had been keeping her fans up to date with her getaway.

She even wrote a gushing tribute to her mates, saying: "Had the best time with my angels, you never know when you're going to meet incredible people in this world.

"I had to leave early due to a commitment tonight and my phone wasn't working. I landed in the UK at 4am, slept and then have driven to London.

"Thank you for the best girl's trip, I really just took the time to be in moment and enjoy the time with these incredible souls."

Faye has been focusing on moving on from her split with Teddy Soares earlier this year.

The pair met on Love Island and despite a rocky start, were inseparable after leaving the villa.

But in February, Faye announced that she had split from Teddy, 26, after months of speculation that the pair had parted ways.

Faye has since revealed the pair were in “different places” and wanted opposing things, which put a strain on their relationship.

She told MailOnline : “It's been very obvious, especially over the last few months, we just wanted different things. We were just in different places.

“And you know, relationships... they're hard, you know, they're hard things to maintain. People go through breakups every single day. People go through heartbreak every single day.

“But we just wanted really different things… And it's just one of those things, unfortunately, and it is sad. It will always be sad and he'll always hold a very special place in my heart."

Faye’s comments came just weeks after Teddy said he “has a voice again“ as he discussed their parting ways.

He said: “I have a voice again. I feel like I’m coming out of my shell again and going to events and going out more, which is really nice.”
