What could be more exciting than Love Island returning to our screens very soon? The teasing of an All Stars series.
Earlier this week, the official Love Island Twitter account let viewers know that the hit reality show would be returning to ITV on Monday, June 6 at 9pm. Love Island fans have gone wild since producers confirmed the start date for the eighth series of the show, with many flocking to social media to share their excitement.
But the anticipation reached fever pitch last week, as Love Island executive producer Mike Spencer carried out a Q&A session on Reddit with fans of the show. And it was during this session that Mike teased a spin-off idea for the dating show.

The executive producer revealed that he would 'love' to bring some of the show's most iconic stars back for a special series. He wrote: "I would personally love to make an ‘All Stars' in the future with past Islanders across all series. What do you think?"
Although Mike would love to see this happen, he did address that the prospect of an all-star series would be 'a question for the channel'. Meanwhile, fans of Love Island went crazy for the idea.
One fan wrote: "That would be my DREAM!!! Please make it happen!!"
This year's series is set to look slightly different from those that have aired before it, as a few changes have taken place. Firstly, the much-loved Love Island villa in Majorca has been axed from the show, bosses confirmed earlier this year, in favour of a sprawling mansion complete with a fire pit, swimming pool, and outdoor kitchen.
Last week, the trailer for the eighth series was teased on Britain's Got Talent, and poked fun at two rival shows - Too Hot To Handle and Love Is Blind. Iain Stirling, who provides the one-of-a-kind voiceover for Love Island, said during the teaser: "224 islanders have slo-mo walked through the famous Love Island villas doors, but don't take it from me - our bromances, babies and brides can tell you why we are number one.
"This summer love isn’t blind, it’s neon and we can defo handle the heat. We’ve got a fire pit, mate. Love - we own it."
