Dr Alex George has apparently angered fans and fellow passengers by failing to wear a mask on board a flight.
The former Love Island star - who serves as the UK Youth Mental Health Ambassador - has been pictured on a seven-hour Emirates flight without a mandatory face covering while flying.
Alex, 31, landed back in the U.K on Wednesday, after enjoying a solo trip to Dubai following his shock split from girlfriend Ellie Hecht earlier this month.
In the pictures of a maskless Alex obtained by The Sun, the Welsh physician can be seen wearing a black hoody, glasses and headphones and looking as his phone as he relaxes in his seat.
One of the images - taken by fellow passengers - shows the star in his seat without a face covering, as a another traveller, wearing a protective mask, makes his way down the plane aisle.
Speaking to the publication, a passenger has explained as they thought the star would know better due to his career as a doctor.
"On the plane he refused to wear his mask despite everyone else doing the same and just sat watching Harry Potter," they recalled.
"At Heathrow he took it off again – plainly ignoring the signs that state it is mandatory. He should have set an example – especially as he worked for the government".
Prime Minister Boris Johnson appointed Alex to the newly created position of Youth Mental Health Ambassador during Children's Mental Health Week in February 2021.
Onlookers also added to the publication that the NHS doctor was the only one not wearing a mask in business class on Saturday night - despite Emirates Airline regularly warning those on-board to keep their masks on
The Mirror has approached representatives for Dr Alex George for comment.
Taking to his Instagram Stories on Thursday morning, the former reality TV star spoke about his desire to get back to his usual schedule, after his break in the sun.
"Bit of a shock to come back to the U.K," he told his 2million followers.
"But good to get back to routine and I'm really excited [about future projects]."
Earlier this month, it was reported that Alex and his partner Ellie Hecht had called it quits, after a year of dating.
Alex confirmed his relationship with the barrister's clerk on Instagram last year, when the then-couple went on a romantic getaway to Cornwall.
The mental health ambassador and Ellie went on to share aspects of their lives and date nights together with fans online - including introducing their adorable puppy Freddie on Instagram just last month.
But at the start of February, after emotional talks, the couple apparently called it quits - with Ellie getting to keep the cute pooch going forward.
A friend told The Sun : "Alex and Ellie tried everything to make it work but sometimes it's just not meant to be.
"They have now gone their separate ways after a very emotional phone conversation."
