Love Island star Dr Alex George has urged people to 'not judge' after it was reported he 'cheated' on his ex-girlfriend Ellie Hecht.
According to sources, the Love Island star was sexting a number of women throughout the course of their relationship before dumping her.
"Alex cheated on Ellie very early on in their relationship but she chose to forgive him and move on," an insider told The Sun recently.
Following the reports, the A&E doctor took to his social media to post a Sunday thought.
He wrote on his Instagram Stories: "It's wise not to judge situations that you do not understand. Just a Sunday thought."
The star hasn't spoken on the claims made about him 'sexting women'.
"She has really been his rock during a very difficult time for him and decided to give him the benefit of the doubt," a source said to the publication.
"Unfortunately, Alex went on to sext a number of other women during their relationship and it all came to a head when someone contacted Ellie and spilled the beans about what he had been up to."
According to the insider, he said he 'hadn't slept with anyone else' but she struggled to believe him.
He ended their relationship earlier this year, a short time after the two bought a dog together. She had to leave the home immediately and had taken the dog with her.
The news of him and Ellie calling time on their romance was revealed earlier this month.
The duo had been dating since January last year, with the A&E doctor confirming their relationship on social media in June.
A friend told The Sun : "Alex and Ellie tried everything to make it work but sometimes it's just not meant to be.

"It's heartbreaking for everyone and Alex is determined they stay friends."
Alex and Ellie have been through a lot together throughout their relationship, including the tragic loss of the frontline worker's little brother back in July.
The ITV2 star has recently started working on his health and fitness and even urged his followers to do the same.
However, he had to call out a few fat shamers in one of his Instagram posts as he went to the gym.
Along with a shirtless photo, Alex penned that he is "not ashamed anymore" over how his physique has changed since appearing on Love Island with a six-pack.
