Love Island's devastated Mitchel calls off Molly romance as she moves on with Sammy

It seems to all be over before it really began for Love Island's Mitchel Taylor and Molly Marsh.

The couple had been tipped as the early favourite to win after becoming totally smitten with each other at the first coupling and sharing the first snog in bed.

However, the preview of tonight's dramatic Love Island, shows a heartbroken Mitchell telling the amateur actress to get to know rival boys in the villa.

And it seems Molly does not need asking twice as she wastes no time in flirting up a storm with new boy Sammy.

As evening falls, Sammy decides to come clean to Mitchel on how he’s feeling after enjoying dates with Ella, Molly and Jess.

He tells the hunk: “I can’t lie, Molly was my favourite. I want to get to know her. At the end of the day, she said to me she was open to getting to know other people as well.”

Despite the blow, Mitchel says: “Do your thing, get to know the girls."

Then he sets the challenge, telling his rival: "Let the best man win.”

After hearing Molly is keen to get to know other people, Mitchel pulls her for a chat.

He explained: “I don’t want to give you the energy I think you deserve, when you’re not going to give me any reciprocation back. I’d rather let you do your thing.

“No one compares to you right now. I’m still gonna adore you, I still think you’re great…I don’t wanna cuddle and all that stuff anymore, I wanna sit back and I want you to explore your options.”

Fans will be quick to pick up on what Molly tells Sammy later than night.

The 21-year-old sits down with him to reveal something that’s been on her mind.

She says: “You either remind me of someone or I've met you and I don’t know how.”

Sammy responds: “You’ve definitely been thinking about this all night! I hope it’s a good thing…”

Molly then confirms: “It is a good thing because I feel like I know you”

He then jokes: “Maybe we met in a past life, when you were a seagull and I was a chip!”

It may not be the only drama on show.

Love Island has witnessed its first dumping of the series - with a contestant cruelly kicked out of the show just four days in.

"It's just days into the show but already one of the cast is going home," a source told The Sun.

"It proves the producers are pulling out all the stops this series to deliver twists and drama for viewers. Nobody is safe!"
