Love Island 's Davide Sanclimenti apparently sent a 'secret message' to former contestant Jay Younger during Wednesday night's episode.
The latest instalment of the ITV2 show saw the group tucking into bowls of spaghetti pasta cooked by 'Italian Stallion' Davide.
In one what viewer dubbed as a 'random clip', Davide was seen in the kitchen cooking up a storm.
"Mate, this looks f*cking banging," one of the boys was heard saying as Davide said: "Some pepper as well."
Billy Brown then piped up and told him: "Davide, oh my God, that's no joke!"
The camera then cut to Ekin-Su tucking into her dinner as she announced: "It's actually really good."
However, it seems Davide chose to cook pasta on purpose - and it had nothing to do with the others living in the villa.
Taking to Twitter, dumped Islander Jay claimed: "No one knows this, but I told Davide to cook carbonara for everyone if he was missing me as a secret message to the outside world #LoveIsland @Davide_Sancli."
Fans were quick to respond to Jay's tweet, with one person writing: "Best bromance ever cant wait to see use guys reunite."
Another said: "Omgggg that’s cute," while a third added: "that’s actually adorable."
Jay was sent home a few days ago when the group were forced to choose between him and Dami Hope.
The contestants decided to save Dami because he already has a connection with Indiyah, but it was obvious that Davide was not happy with the decision.
The Italian had grown very close to Jay - despite his kiss with Ekin-Su, which saw them also share a romantic bowl of pasta together.
Referencing this, one viewer tweeted on Wednesday evening: "I didn’t think Davide was ever going to be able to eat Pasta again…after that Lady and the Tramp moment. #Loveisland #Ekinde."
Others couldn't believe that they were witnessing the Islanders eat as meal times are rarely shown on the ITV2 show.
"What’s with the random clip of everyone eating pasta?? #loveisland," one person asked," while another said: "Absolutely love that Davide is making the villa pasta. Also a little jealous #LoveIsland."
Someone else predicted: "Davide is going to be on This Morning doing a cooking segment with Gino after that glimpse of him making pasta isn’t he? #LoveIsland."
And a different viewer tweeted: "Was that plain pasta will black pepper. That’s the first meal I’ve ever seen? #Loveisland."
Love Island continues at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub.
