Love Island's Davide Sanclimenti shares five year post-villa plan ahead of show

Love Island 2022 contestant Davide Sanclimenti has revealed he already has his life plan sorted for when his time in the villa comes to an end.

The 27-year-old Italian businessman will be moving into the plush new villa in Majorca next week and he's already thinking about settling down.

Speaking to The Mirror and other press, Davide said: "I'm 27-years-old so I'm getting serious about my goals. If I find someone that I really like then yes I would love to settle down and have kids - not straight away!

"Maybe I'd look to get married in four or five years maximum, but this naturally depends if I find someone that I really want to spend my life with," he continued.

But whoever the lucky lady is, she might have her work cut out for her if she can't speak a word of Italian.

"The girl who will be my life partner, I'd probably want her to learn some Italian. But not much because otherwise she can understand everything we're saying in Italian," he said cheekily.

The self-proclaimed "Italian stallion" says he has a "good heart" and is "a very deep person" as he looks for a meaningful relationship on the Spanish island and can't wait to get stuck into the action.

Speaking ahead of the series, he said: "I’m going to be the Italian stallion in the villa! With my Italian charm, I can also be a very romantic guy.

"I’m good looking and I’ve realised since I first arrived in Manchester, a lot of English girls actually love me. They love to be around me and I love to be around them.

"It’s going to be fun, I’m looking forward to it."

Davide said he has done "romantic stuff" in the past during previous relationships so why is he still single?

"I am very picky," he said. "It’s difficult to find someone that I really fancy but when I do, I become really close with the person."

*Love Island starts at 9pm Monday 6th June on ITV2 and ITV Hub. Episodes are available the following morning on BritBox.
