Davide Sanclimenti has told he is supporting his former Love Island co-star Luca Bish in his post-break up from Gemma Owen.
The 27-year-old reality star admitted the former fishmonger, 23, was 'not really okay' after Gemma, 19, ended their relationship leaving him heartbroken.
Speaking at a red carper event Davide admitted he'd checked in with his mate after hearing the news that the pair had parted ways after three months together.
Telling Mail MailOnline he said: "He was not really okay but he is now and he is getting better and I feel like I told him, "You had an amazing experience together and had a lovely time but if it's not something that's going to work then Gemma will find someone who is meant for her and you will find someone meant for you so there is no reason to be sad."
Meanwhile Gemma has opted to put her energy into her exercise regime as she shared shots on her Instagram in a 'abs optimising' outfit.
She wrote alongside the snap: 'Time to sweat'.
When they announced their split, the couple took to Instagram Stories to share separate statements.
While Gemma said ‘this is what is best for us both right now’,
And although Davide has consoled his new pal he himself, who found love in the Villa with Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, has proved to have found the real deal saying things are 'getting better and better each day.'
The series winners have their Homecomings reality show airing on Monday which documents their lives since leaving the Majorca Villa.
Sharing a taster for the show he admits the best bits for him have been meeting each others family as they visited Italy and trip to Turkey to see her relatives.
Admitting her was 'not so nervous' to meet Ekin-Su's family in their home as he had previously met her parents but it was 'lovely' to meet her extended family.
But the pair aren't looking to put roots down in one place just yet as they plan to travel and even work together on travelling shows 'to do something fun and entertaining for people'.
He added:'We just want to travel we'd both love to go to Egypt, Japan, Brazil and just travel the world and see how it goes."
