Love Island 2022 has finally wrapped up after eight weeks of recouplings, dumpings, and romances. Series 8 of the popular dating show saw Davide Sanclimenti and Ekin-Su Culculoglu crowned winners, with Gemma Owen and Luca Bish placed runners up.
The Italian business owner and Turkish actress stormed to victory, with the voting figures revealing they'd won a whopping 63.69% of the vote. You can read more on this here.
After winning the show the loved-up pair are also £50,000 richer as ITV ditched the "love or money" option which gives one contestant in the winning couple the chance to keep the prize money for themselves. However, it turns out Davide may not be too worried about the cash.

"We have partnership with the most exclusive restaurants and nightclubs around the UK, carrying a wide selection of top quality hookah products in different shapes and sizes. We offer catering-service, with the highest quality of luxury electronic shisha and the purest French made e-liquids. High quality ingredients combined with the latest technology on the market."
Love Island fans who have been watching Davide on-screen for eight weeks have reacted online. "Davide owning a Shisha business is the last thing I expected," wrote one.
While another added: "I just learnt that Davide is an entrepreneur owning a shisha business. This guy was always meant to have a Turkish wife. I'm convinced they're soulmates. I can’t get over them two!" For more showbiz and television stories, get our newsletter here.
