Love Island's Davide couples up with Gemma as two new girls set to arrive

Davide Sanclimenti caused carnage in the Love Island villa tonight as he coupled up with Gemma Owen.

The Italian stallion opted to choose Michael Owen's daughter, leaving Liam now single but all is not lost for Liam - as two new girls are set to arrive in the villa and they're ready to step on some toes.

At the end of tonight's episode, it was confirmed that Afia and Ekin-Su will be heading into the villa, with the public tasked with choosing who they want them to go on a date with.

Afia Tonkmor is 25 and hails from London. She is a Lounge Host at a Private Members Club and is ready to find love in the villa, describing it as a now or never moment.

"It just seems like a once in a lifetime opportunity to meet someone, have an amazing summer, just have so much fun and have a bit of a summer romance as well," she said when asked why she wanted to look for love in Mallorca.

However, she did admit she falls in love quickly, and when discussing her past romances, she added: "I fall in love quickly, too quickly, two dates I am like, 'OMG I am obsessed with this boy, he’s everything.'"

Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu is a 27-year-old actress from Essex and she wants to find a "real genuine spark".

"I’m looking for that real genuine spark and they just see me as me. I think the concept of the show brings back true and raw feelings," she said, "I’m quite picky and I’m not just looking for looks, I’m looking for brains! I’m looking for someone with intelligence, someone who can have good chats. Nothing like cockiness! I’m looking for a serious man and a serious relationship."

The two new girls will now be entering the villa in the coming days - Afia and Ekin-Su - and both of them have no qualms about doing what they can to find out the man of their dreams.

At the end of tonight's episode, fans were left stunned to find out the pair would be entering the villa soon, and whoever ended up single after the next recoupling would find themselves booted from the villa.

*Love Island continues tomorrow on ITV2 at 9pm.
