Love Island fans' worst fears were confirmed on Monday night when Dami Hope kissed new girl Summer Botwe behind fan favourite Indiyah Polack's back.
After viewers started to cast doubt on frontrunners' Paige Thorne and Jacques O'Neill's relationship, at the same time Paige's family raised concerns, bookies made Dami and Indiyah the red hot favourites to triumph on the ITV2 show this year, with social media also full of love for them.
However, in keeping with Love Island, infamous second villa Casa Amor has already started to stir up trouble, less than 48 hours in. At the end of Sunday night's show, it looked like Dami and Summer were growing closer and, after he admitted earlier on in the episode he was "open," to get to know other girls and was "still single," Dami kissed the new girl, as they got close away from the others on the terrace of the main villa.

Being very direct, Summer asked: “Would you say I’m your type?” to which he replied: “Yeah, I wouldn’t really be up on the terrace if you weren’t my type.”
Summer then asks Dami to read her mind, to which he told her: “You fancy me. You feel like there is a bit of chemistry between us. You wanna kiss me. You wanna share a bed with me tonight. You still definitely want to kiss me.”
When Summer then remarked on Dami’s strong eye contact, she challenged him to a staring contest, which ended in them locking lips, much to the anger of many viewers watching at home.
Taking to Twitter, one fumed: "How did dami fold in less than 24 hours he really played my girl indiyah," with a second, referencing Michael cheating on Amber in 2019 writing: "let's be honest dami has f**ked it, i'm not looking forward to a repeat of this, indiyah deserves so much better."
A third tweeted: "Ngl I did not expect Dami and Indiyah to drop like this I was seeing them in the finale. Dami really threw that away so quickly."
