Chloe Burrows has explained her theory to why she thinks this year's Love Island boys got away with their questionable behaviour at times ahead of tonight's final.
The reality TV - who is still loved-up with her series seven co-star Toby Aromolaran - has also revealed she would have headed home early had she been in the Spanish villa this year, as none of the current crop of boys impress her.
This year's series of the ITV2 show has seen viewers slam several of the boys for their treatment towards their female housemates - with Luca Bish 's family forced to hit back after the fishmonger from Brighton was accused of bullying co-star Tasha Ghouri.
While many viewers have been quick to criticise Luca - alongside Dami Hope and Jacques O'Neill - many have pointed out we're only seeing an edited version of their time in the Spanish villa.
Last week, ITV pledged to "sit down and review Love Island" when series ends this evening [August 1], after the dating show was subjected to more than 5,000 complaints to broadcasting watchdog Ofcom over recent weeks.
"I think it's the case of both because yeah we only see [minutes of each person] per episode, however producers don't make you out to be something you're not," Chloe explained to the Mirror last week when discussing whether the boys may have been victims of brutal edits.
"So I wouldn't say it's inaccurate but we're obviously not seeing all the good bits and highlights of someone."
"At the end of the day, the producers have to make their storylines and if there is a villain at the time, they're obviously going to with that.
"But they've never, ever going to make you out to be someone that you're not so I don't know."
Chloe went on to reveal there would be "absolutely no way" she would have coupled up with any of this year's male Islanders, and confessed she would have probably bickered with most of them.
"In other series the girl group was so strong," she added when chatting to us about the boys' treatment of the girls last week.
"I wasn't even that close to any of the girls but I know for a fact as soon as I was annoyed the girls would kind of validate that and I would have enough ammunition to shout at the boys, but I feel like that's missing this year.
"The boys are getting away with much more this year, 100%," she added.
Last week ITV boss Kevin Lygo said the broadcaster will "sit down and review" Love Island when the series ends this year, following a barrage of viewer complaints to Ofcom.
Many have related to alleged misogynistic behaviour by some of the male contestants.
However, Mr Lygo, managing director of ITV Studios, stressed they were "very happy with the way it has gone so far".
During a media briefing for ITV’s interim financial results, Mr Lygo was asked about the volume of complaints and whether there would be an editorial review.
He said: "We continually assess a programme as it is going on because it is one of these odd every night live sort of shows.
"But when the series comes to an end on Monday, we will always sit down and review what we think about it, what the reaction has been, how well it has done.
"And we have to say this year, remember, it is the best one we have had in many years and I think everyone is thoroughly enjoying it.
"To get five million people to watch a show every night at 9 o’clock is extraordinary in the modern era, so something is being done right.
"But you are right, we must always look to improve and work on what we have done. But we are very happy with the way it has gone so far."
*The Love Island final airs tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub.
