In a move that no Love Island fan saw coming, music icon Ne-Yo played a crucial role in the start of Casa Amor, as he was used as decoy to take the girls out of the main villa.
It was confirmed during Thursday's Love Island that the infamous second villa was making a return, having caused havoc for the last six years. But, while viewers were expecting Casa to make an appearance at some point, they definitely weren't expecting it to be the same night that Ne-Yo, the man whose given us hits like Sexy Love and Let Me Love You, gave a performance in the villa.
The Islanders were beside themselves with excitement as they were told by text that Ne-Yo would be arriving to give them a special set, with him then singing right in front of them in the garden, as he delivered hits like Miss Independent, Because of You and Time of Our Lives. After his performance ended, Ne-Yo got a video of him and the Islanders singing his debut smash So Sick, before telling the girls he wanted to get a selfie just with them.
He then directed them outside the villa, saying he wanted to get a good backdrop. However, as they made their way further away from the lads, Ne-Yo walked the girls to a people carrier emblazoned with the words Casa VIPs. It didn't take long for the boys to go looking for the girls, but by the time they'd noticed they were gone, it was too late as they were well on their way to Casa.
Right at the end of the episode, the girls and viewers at home were joined by six new Casa Amor bombshells on their first night as fans at home were still reeling from Ne-Yo being used as a secret ruse. One tweeted: "NEYO SENDING THEM TO CASA AMOR OMG," with a second reacting: "NOT NEYO ESCORTING THE GIRLS TO CASA AMOR I AM F**KING WEAK"
