Love Island's Casa Amor return 'confirmed' as villa rocked by brutal twist

The Love Island villa has been hit by a brutal twist, just as it's been 'confirmed' that Casa Amor will open its doors once again this weekend, with viewers set to get their look at the fallout from it in a few days time.

The new series of Love Island and its second in South Africa has been met with a rather mixed response from viewers. While there are fans that still cancel all their other plans to make sure they are in front of the TV at 9pm every night for each new slice of action from the villa, others have condemned the latest run for being 'too boring' and full of people who aren't actually bothered about finding love.

However, if there is one than can be guaranteed to shake things up it's Casa Amor and it's been widely reported over the last few days that Love Island's infamous second residence will be back in business this weekend., right after Carl Fogarty's daughter Claudia entered the show as the new series' latest bomsbhell.

Over the years, Casa Amor has caused any amount of drama from Josh's betrayal of 'loyal' Georgia in 2018, Amber walking back into the main villa to see Michael had moved one with new girl Joanna in 2019 and Shaughna's instantly iconic 'congrats hun' reaction to seeing Callum with Molly in the first winter Love Island.

Sources claim that Islanders will be split this weekend as some head off to Casa Amor but, its arrival comes as the villa is reeling from another twist, details of which will become clearer on Friday night's show.

An ITV teaser for the episode reveals that the shocked Islanders are told to gather round the firepit to await further updates.

Discussing the return of Casa Amor, an insider told The Sun: "Casa Amor starts filming this weekend and then viewers will see the explosive fall out next week.

“It’ll be one of the most dramatic Casa Amor splits ever as apart from two couples, all the relationships are so fragile. Fans won’t want to miss it."
