Camilla Thurlow has opened up on life with a new-born, just weeks after welcoming her second daughter.
The Love Island star, originally from Dumfries, tied the knot with hubby Jamie last September in an intimate ceremony after the pair coupled up almost five years ago on the ITV dating show. Camilla and Jamie are one of the most successful couples to make it out of the dating show, as they are a loved up family of four.
Camilla has been candid about her experience of motherhood and has now spoken to fans who want to know how she's coping the second time around. Taking to Instagram, she explained: "[The transition] has been hard to compare. One to two [children] has been nowhere near as big a shock to the system.
"Nora is a very different baby. We have a lot of support in place this time (we went into lockdown after Nell was born, so that was very different and I haven't been ashamed to accept any help that was offered. The sunshine is helping my emotional well-being, so everything has felt a bit more positive, but it still feels like a big change.
"The challenging aspect has been figuring out how to make sure both girls get what they need, particularly during Nora's feed and Nell's meals and bedtime."
Camilla also explained her birth with Nora had been 'a lot easier' than with Nell, but ultimately she was 'so grateful for her two girls and the NHS '. Jumping from one child to two, has been easier for her compared to the shock to her system after welcoming Nell.
The couple announced the birth of their second child by sharing a video clip of Nell meeting her sister for the first time, they gushed: "Our beautiful early bird Nora Belle Jewitt. Born 27th May 2022, a sister for our gorgeous little Nell Sophia."
The pair announced they were expecting a second child on Instagram back in December 2021. Sharing a sweet video of Nell getting ready for Christmas, they penned: "We had an early gift this year and we couldn’t be more grateful… 3 soon to be 4, June 2022."
