Former Love Island contestant Billy Brown has claimed he and Gemma Owen flirted a lot more than viewers witnessed on-screen during his time in the villa.
The ex-Islander, 23, says Michael Owen's daughter has been "let off lightly" by Love Island producers, and claims the dressage competitor was actually the one to initiate chats between the pair during Casa Amor.
Billy was booted off the ITV2 show last week, alongside Summer Botwe, after his fellow islanders opted to save Indiyah Polack's boyfriend Dami Hope after a public vote left four contestants at risk.
The roofing company director was partnered up with dancer Danica Taylor after he was brought back from Casa Amor with Tasha Ghouri - but whilst him and Danica hit it off when Tasha got back with Andrew Le Page, it wasn't meant to be for the pair.
But prior to forming a connection with Tasha at Casa Amor, Billy had enjoyed a few conversations with Gemma - something the teenager's partner Luca Bish wasn't too happy to see during the infamous Movie Night.
Speaking on Capital Breakfast with Roman Kemp this morning [July 26], Billy revealed Gemma was actually the one leading things between them.
"Her first words was 'pull me for a chat if you want'," the reality TV star laughed as he recalled his time in Casa Amor.
"Oh! So she initiated it?" Sian Welby replied in surprise, to which Billy added: "Yeah and then I played hard to get and didn’t even pull her for a chat."
When quizzed by presenter Roman if "there was a lot more that we didn’t see with you and Gemma", Billy revealed he feels plenty went unaired during his Casa Amor stint.
"Just all the flirting, you haven’t seen it all, they let her off lightly!" Billy confessed on the radio show when discussing his interactions with Gemma.
He went on to admit if he could go back and do it all again, he wouldn't change anything except perhaps pull Gemma "for a chat at the start maybe".
Gemma is still seemingly still loved-up with fishmonger Luca, but are yet to officially become boyfriend-and-girlfriend.
Sunday night's instalment of the ITV2 show saw 'Italian Stallion' Davide Sanclimenti make a homemade tiramisu for Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu as he asked her to go exclusive with him.
"We've got three like couples now haven't we?" Luca said as the romantic gesture took place, as Indiyah said: "I know! Welcome to the exclusives club!"
Ekin-su then said to Luca: "You're technically... you've always been exclusive. You don't even need to say it, it's really obvious, you just need to meet the parents."
She then added: "Husband, wife," as she pointed at Gemma and Luca.
Luca didn't seem happy and said to Gemma: "You'll get the question one day," as she replied: "Oh God!"
As they sat down on the sofa, Gemma looked annoyed as Luca put his arm around her and said: "I'm glad Ekin's told me we're basically exclusive, do you know what I mean? It's given me clarity," to which Gemma responded: "Shut up!"
"You're being bitter," she then told him as he replied: "I'm not!"
Gemma continued: "I know, but to be fair though, we didn't do something like that for people to know that we are exclusive and I'd prefer it to be that way."
