A former Love Island contestant from Yorkshire has been given an absolute discharge by a judge after being found in possession of Ketamine more than four years ago.
Leeds mum Bethany Rogers, 26, appeared on first series of the ITV hit show back in 2015 but only lasted a week in the villa before being flown home. Jess Hayes and Max Morley went on to win the show and share the prize money.
Rogers' case was finally brought to a conclusion on Tuesday, more than two years after she pleaded guilty. In 2019, it was sent to Bradford Crown Court as she was also accused of being involved in money-laundering type offences relating to cash and an Audi A3, but those allegations were dropped, leaving her to be sentenced just for the drugs matter relating to her arrest in January 2018.
