Love Island viewers were told Ben Noel 'couldn't be' on Aftersun on Sunday, as he failed to join his fellow Casa Amor bombshells for their first TV appearance after leaving the show.
While Ouzy, Lochan, Elom, Abi, Amber and returning Islander Molly all secured a longer stint on Love Island as Casa week came to an with a dramatic recoupling, Ben was on of six new arrivals who were sent packing after just a few days in the ITV villa, along with Kodie, Zachary, Gabby, Tink and Danielle.
While they did exit interviews with ITV in the immediate aftermath of their dumping, the six bombshells hadn't been seen back in the UK on TV until Sunday, when they were all scheduled to join host Maya Jama for the latest episode spin-off Aftersun. However, after Maya interviewed the three girls, Ben was nowhere to be seen as she crossed live to regular guest Sam Thompson for a chat with the lads.
Without going into detail, ex Made in Chelsea star simply told fans watching at home that Ben 'couldn't be here unfortunately,' before launching straight into questions with the other two boys, as one viewer tweeted: "Hold on where is the 3rd Casa boy, Ben was it? Did they lose him?"
Speaking about his Love Island exit earlier in the week, Ben said: "It’s bittersweet, I did my best to speak to most of the girls and explore connections. I was very relaxed about it though but I feel like I did the best that I could do. I’m feeling good, feeling positive and have no regrets."
And then, discussing his whole experience in Casa Amor, Ben added: "Very enjoyable but you’re up against the clock, you almost have a deadline to make a connection with the girls and perhaps you can be guilty of trying too hard to impress them.."
