Love Island's bathroom break secrets disclosed by former islander on TikTok

A former Love Island star has revealed the secret behind the contestants bathroom habits, as her TikTok went viral on the topic.

Amy Hart, who appeared on season five of the show and chose to leave on day 37, posted a TikTok discussing the procedure behind the islanders toilet breaks on the show.

Replying to a comment asking about the toilet situation, Amy said: "They have someone watching, and when you go into the toilet, they turn your mic off. But, it's only one person in the toilet at a time.

"There is a camera in the toilet, but it is a security camera and it only gets looked at if something happened and they needed to check things, like if you fell and hit your head or something. So yeah, they don't listen to you weeing, or pooing, and they don't watch you either."

Fans headed straight for Amy's TikTok comments to share their thoughts on this unusual situation. One TikTok user said: "Not sure I’m trusting the mic turn off guy."
