Love Island's AJ Bunker has been rushed to hospital in "excruciating pain" in her back and abdomen.
The former Love Islander turned boxer, who rose to fame in the 2021 series of the ITV dating show, shared a photo of her arm to show the drip attached as she opened up on her health scare.
As she posted the image on her Instagram page, Andrea-Jane wrote on top: "Thank you for all the messages" followed by a black heart emoji.
"Over the last few days I developed pains in my back and abdomen, I didn't think much of it and just ignored it, however last night it became excruciatingly painful to the point of needing to go to hospital," she wrote.
AJ continued: "I was in urgent care fore 12 hours going through a number of tests and put on an IV, I've now been discharged however need to go back in the next few days for an ultrasound."
The reality star then ended her message with a public plea to her fans.
"Please guys listen to your body and don't do what I did with ignoring pains and aches until it gets extremely bad," she penned. "But thank you to the nurses and doctors who took care of me at the L&D."
Last week, Andrea-Jane apologised to fans for her lack of activity on social media following her boxing match against Astrid Wett, which she lost.
She wrote: "Sorry for being so quiet!
"Feel like I’ve seriously been neglecting the socials Since my fight I’ve been catching up with close friends/family, getting myself back into going to events, concerts, eating/drinking and basically doing all the things I couldn’t do during fight camp. You really don’t realise how much you appreciate these things until you can’t do them."
AJ continued: "I’m terrible at posting in the moment, so heres a few snippets of a few things Ive been up too. To name a few I experienced my first live MMA & BKB fights, saw Chris brown in concert (who I’ve wanted to see since god knows when) also saw my girl win her first UWCB match and couldn’t be prouder!"
She penned: "It’s safe to say I’ve put all my cut weight back on I’ve over indulged over the last few weeks and now dying to get back to the gym!
"Thank you for for all the supportive, amazing messages, my hand/wrist is pretty much near fully recovered, hopefully be back to training very soon! CAN’T WAIT!"
AJ's recent hospital trip isn't her first this year.
The Love Islander required urgent medical care while on holiday in Sri Lanka in January.
Taking to her platform, AJ wrote: "Happy New Year you beauties. Sorry for being so quiet.
"I became really ill when I got back from Sri Lanka. To the point where I had to go to urgent care. Since then I've been focusing on getting 100% better."
She continued: "Whilst catching up with my family/friends, I'm finally feeling better & will be back to posting. Wishing you all the happiest new year & all the best for 2023! All my love."
