Adam Collard has promised Love Island viewers even more drama thanks to his arrival, following a frosty reaction from the boys during this evening's show.
The personal trainer has delighted fans of the ITV2 show with his pledge to 'do what [he's going] to do' and get to know all the girls in the Villa.
Adam's drama-filled return to Love Island comes four years on from the first time he appeared on the reality TV show, where he coupled up with four girls during his original stint on screen.
Tonight's episode saw the boys arrive in the Villa to see Adam chatting to Gemma - prompting a savage reaction from Luca towards the dressage star and the rest of the lads not exactly welcoming the comeback star with open arms.
"The boys whinging on, talk about rattling their cages - I don't even think I've started yet," Adam told the Beach Hut cameras after the awkward welcome from the male islanders.
"Jacques has lost his head - it's hot out here but icy would be an understatement when it comes to the boys," he added.
"The reaction i got - not good. Everyone's got their back's up but I'm going to do what I'm going to do."
Viewers loved Adam's savage plans to rock the Villa.
"NOT ADAM SAYING THIS IS ACT 1 SCENE 1 OF RATTLING THE LADS LOOOL #LoveIsland," one excited fan declared on Twitter, with another adding: "ADAM IS SO UNBOTHERED PLEASE #LoveIsland."
A third quipped "Adam ISNT stopping his shit stirring anytime soon #LoveIsland", as another joked: "This Adam guy is a menace [laughing-face emoji]#LoveIsland."
Prior to this evening's show airing, fans of the popular reality TV star praised Adam for 'saving' this year's series of Love Island.
Internet commentators branded the comeback star a "living legend" and credited him adding even more drama to the Villa following his arrival earlier this week.
"Noooo Adam Collard really did intimidate Jacques out the door. Legend status tbh #LoveIsland," one fan quipped on Twitter, with another agreeing as they wrote: "Adam isn’t even a love island legend he’s like love island mythology #LoveIsland."
"i have to tell my grandchildren about adam collard," another joked as the news of Jacques' departure broke on Tuesday afternoon.
Over on reddit, forum users were also in agreement that Adam's return - four years on from first appearing on the show - has been a roaring success.
"It took 20 minutes of Adam Collard to send him packing? That's some goat s**t," one viewer praised the star.
"ADAM REALLY SAVED THE SEASON. GOAT GOAT GOAT," another excitedly wrote, with a third adding: "Adam Collard could win the 50k. What a wild season if that's a possibility."
