Love Island’s Adam Collard had his "top ripped off by a mob" during a night out with Paige Thorne in Newcastle.
The 26-year-old Newcastle gym owner was approached by a group of men while he, Paige and some friends were out on Tuesday evening. An altercation broke out, and a video shows how Adam’s shirt was ripped off.
Security guards can be seen approaching the group in the clip obtained by The Sun – all before they are split up and sent their separate ways. An eyewitness said: "Everyone was trying to crowd him and I think they were trying to crowd Paige and Adam wasn’t happy at all which was understandable.

“Then people started to rip his top off and it all kicked off,” they told The Sun. “It’s no surprise he wanted to defend himself and was obviously looking out for Paige as well.” They further added: “They were just out a drink together with friends and they didn’t need that hassle."
Adam's representative says he and his pals are “extremely shaken up” following the incident. "Adam was trying to enjoy a quiet night in his hometown with friends when a large group of men began aggressively harassing them," reports Birmingham Live. "Despite several attempts to diffuse the situation, the men continued to become more aggressive and started physically attacking Adam.
"Understandably, Adam and his friends were extremely shaken up by the situation and felt it was best to leave and were safely escorted by the security team outside." His agent confirmed that "no further action has been taken" against the mob.
The ordeal comes after Paige revealed she will be returning to her job as a paramedic following her time on the ITV2 dating show. Appearing on ITV's Lorraine alongside Adam recently, Paige spoke about what's next for her both personally and professionally.
"So, personally for me, I've got a meeting to go back to paramedic work as well so that will be exciting. I saw an ambulance the other day with sirens on and I had serious FOMO! So I'm gonna go back into that a little bit and just see what opportunities come from that."
