Love Island reveals three couples face brutal axe as two stars dumped from villa

Love Island has confirmed the latest dumping twist, with six Islanders at risk of being dumped.

Adam Collard and Paige Thorne, Indiyah Polack and Dami Hope, and Jamie Allen and Danica Taylor were all confirmed to be facing leaving the show just days before the final, as the public vote result was announced on Tuesday night.

It seems, given proceedings have already taken place, that the unlucky Islanders have already left the villa.

But viewers won't know who is gone until Wednesday night when the scenes play out.

The Islanders learned in the latest episode that a dumping was about to take place around the fire pit, but there was more.

They were told it would be up to the public to decide who would be next to leave, and the text soon came in.

The group were fearing the worst, as Andrew Le Page received a message that said: "The couple with the fewest votes and therefore dumped from the island is."

The episode then ended as the Islanders who were at risk stood in front of those who had been saved, and waited to learn their fates.

Wednesday night will reveal which Islanders end up leaving the show, ahead of next week's final.

It comes as fans hit out at the show after some of the usual or past challenges appeared to be missed from the current series.

While there's still a week to go, fans feared that certain challenges had not made the cut - calling the tasks that did feature "boring".

Love Island producers have now reportedly confirmed that the fan favourite Twitter challenge in particular will not be returning to the ITV2 dating show this year, despite an apparent hint over the weekend.

The Online Buzz Twitter challenge sees the Islanders given tweets from ITV2 viewers and asks them to guess the names.

The challenge has previously created explosive scenes in the villa as the Love Island contestants learn the truth behind certain situations.

Over the weekend Love Island fans believed they had spotted a clue the challenge could soon be returning to screens, when the show’s official Twitter account added a disclaimer to its bio.

However, Love Island will reportedly not feature the popular challenge in the eight series, despite demand from eager fans of the show.

Love Island airs every night at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub.
