It's been just days since Jacques O'Neill left the Love Island villa, prioritising his mental health over the show, but new boy Adam Collard hasn't wasted any time in filling his shoes and getting the girl he wants.
During a recoupling on Thurday, July 14, the 26-year-old, who previously entered the Love Island villa in 2018, chose to partner up with 24-year-old Welsh paramedic and Jacques' former flame, Paige Thorne.
Hot on the heels of a party which saw pop star Becky Hill performing for the Islanders, the group was told to gather around the fire pit for a recoupling, in which the boys would decide who they wanted to couple-up with.

And it comes as no suprise that, as the newest contestant in the Majorcan Love Island villa, Adam got to go first.
Starting his speech with: “I've decided to couple up with this girl because from the moment I came in here, she made me feel most welcome," his choice became obvious to those around him.
Continuing, he said: "As much as I've tried to play it cool, I constantly seem to gravitate towards her and I've had the best conversations with her. She's beautiful, she's funny... hasn't had exactly the most plain-sailing time in here but I'm hoping that I can change that and get to know her a little bit more. So the girl I want to couple up with is... Paige."
As Paige sat next to her new partner, Adam said to her, referencing his past time in the villa: "It doesn't get easier."
His decision came just hours after he was sent a text that tasked him in choosing three girls with whom to go on his first date(s). On Wednesday's episode, it was clear that Adam's eye was well and truly set on Paige as he later said to the boys in the villa: "Mate, she's class. Literally, everyone says... it's clear as day when you actually get her by herself, which is what I was hoping for. I think yous all knew that I would choose her."
The new couples now in the villa are: Adam and Paige, Andrew and Tasha, Billy and Danica, Dami and Indiyah, Luca and Gemma, Josh and Summer, Davide and Ekin-Su and Deji and Coco.
Fans of the show were quick to react to Adam's choice, taking to Twitter to air their feelings with one Twitter user, @kelli3louise, saying: "Paige has no idea on whats to come now coupled up with Adam #loveisland."
While another wrote: "I'm not feeling Paige and Adam at all. #LoveIsland."
@curious_howard also commented on the new pairing saying: "I'm sorry but I think Adam and Paige look sooooo good together #LoveIsland."
