The new series is only two days old but the show is already introducing two new girls, as the power is put in viewers' hands ahead of the first crunch recoupling later this week.
There has already a bombshell arrival on the new series of the ITV2 show, in the shape of Davide, who has certainly ruffled a few feathers since gate crashing night one in the new Love Island villa, turning the girls' heads and leaving the boys feeling ever so slightly threatened.
At the end of Monday's launch episode, Davide was told he had 24 hours to 'steal' a girl from one of the lads and, after sharing a kiss with Gemma Owen on his first night, it was Michael Owen's daughter who he chose to couple up with, after also showing an interest in Tasha and Paige.

David's actions left Gemma's original love interest, Luke, vulnerable, with him receiving a text in the immediate aftermath of Daivde's decision telling him that the first recoupling of Love Island 2022 was looming and someone would be dumped from the island if they were left single.
What the Love Island contestants didn't see was that, while they came to terms with that, the images of two new girls flashed up on screen for viewers to see - Afia and Ekin-Su.
And, after they decided who the first couples would be, viewers will now get to decide who will go on a date with them.
Who are the Love Island new girls?
Afia Tonkmor, 25, London
Afia is a lounge host at a private members club. Quizzed on why she decided to do Love Island, the 25-year-old said: "It just seems like a once in a lifetime opportunity to meet someone, have an amazing summer, just have so much fun and have a bit of a summer romance as well."
And, asked on how quickly she falls in love, she said: "I fall in love quickly, too quickly, two dates I am like, ‘OMG I am obsessed with this boy, he’s everything.’
Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, 27, Essex

Asked on why she is single, Ekin-Su said: "Partially because I’m quite picky and I’m not just looking for looks, I’m looking for brains! I’m looking for someone with intelligence, someone who can have good chats. Nothing like cockiness! I’m looking for a serious man and a serious relationship.
