The force went on to add that the man was a 'danger to everyone around him' and was 'quite rightly taken off the road'.

Their post read: "Love Island might be missing a contestant after the GMP Transport Unit officers locked this lad up for driving whilst disqualified and no insurance & drunk driving. Kept in the cells overnight to face court. A danger to everyone around him and quite rightly taken off the road."
