Love Island: Maya Jama's wet-look optical illusion dress confuses fans as she returns to villa

Maya Jama returned to the Love Island villa last night (Friday, February 3), sending temperatures soaring as viewers watched the Bristolian bombshell greet this year's islanders by the fire pit. Earlier this week, the former Cotham School pupil told fans she was returning to South Africa on social media, but viewers were still left with dropped jaws when she walked back into the luxury villa last night.

Every time Maya, 28, appears on the ITV2 reality show, fans are left speechless by her incredible looks. But Maya's attire last night left some viewers feeling a little confused, as, although she looked amazing, her dress appeared to be an optical illusion.

As she strolled into the villa for a bombshell double dumping last night, Maya's curves were accentuated by her floor-length Syndical Chamber "Golden Blood" draped dress, which is believed to retail at £349.00. At first glance, it seemed that Maya had been soaked by a bucket of water, as the gown mimicked the features of a naked woman.

Maya posed for a series of snaps in the sleeveless dress before entering the villa, with her long dark hair slicked back into a sleek ponytail. Teasing fans, Maya posted the snaps on social media, writing: "Tonight’s loook .. Popping back into the villa @LoveIsland"

The TV presenter's dresses always cause a lot of commotion, with fans often left overwhelmed by her beauty. But some were left feeling slightly confused by her outfit of choice last night, despite admitting that it looked "stunning".

Maya stunned fans as she arrived in the villa in her bamboozling dress, sending two islanders home in a shocking double dumping (ITV)

Maya stirred things up in the villa last night as she arrived to break the news that two islanders would be leaving the show. She informed the contestants that viewers had been voting at home to save their favourite boy before the episode ended on a cliffhanger.

Love Island returns to ITV2 and ITVX at 9pm on Sunday, February 5.
