Love Islanders can swear as much as they like, but call someone 'fake' and face the music. Drama between Jessie and Olivia came to a head on tonight's episode (March 1) after serious accusations of fakery were thrown around. Jessie Wynter, 26, confronted Olivia Hawkins, 27, and Lana Jenkins about rumours the ring girl had been talking behind Jessie's back.
After Casey O'Gorman branded Jessie a "game player" when talking to Maxwell Samuda, Olivia and Lana voiced their opinion of the personal trainer. Jessie said: “I’ve just come back from a chat with Casey and everyone in the Villa says that everyone is talking about something and I’m very confused. I’ve stood by all of you, even on Movie Night, I stood up for all of you girls."
Claudia Fogarty added: “The word fake was used.” Olivia, who wasn't happy with that word said: “I never said fake, please don’t say I’ve said fake because I didn’t. I just don’t think this is a conversation we need to have between all of us."
The same f-word riled up farmer Will Young, coupled with Jessie, who said it was one of the "worst words" islanders could call each other. Will pulled Maxwell aside to confront him on why he felt his girl was "fake".
The contestants claim to be on the show to find "the one" and all of them place a high standard on being their genuine selves. It's not just the Love Island contestants who hate fakery, but also the show's fans who called both Olivia and Jessie fake.
Olivia admitted to talking about Jessie behind her back but denied using the word 'fake' to describe the influencer. Jessie asked Liv for a one-on-one conversation, but Olivia said now before shouting: It's not just me though, you're coming at me."
"So who has it come from, Liv do you reckon? Are the other girls buying into it or not saying anything?" asked Jessie. Liv said in the Beach Hut she had only said what several members of the villa were thinking, but only she saw any repercussions.
Fans thoroughly enjoyed the drama as Olivia was confronted by Jessie, with one saying: "One said: "What is Olivia upset about? Jessie has every right to be upset. This girl is full of herself."
Another added: "At this point I’m genuinely concerned for Olivia because she is fully convinced that she didn’t call Jessie fake."
Someone else pointed out: "Olivia lost her head when Kai said she wasn’t genuine and demanded an apology, and she’s shocked that Jessie’s hurt and has the audacity to walk away from the conversation because she doesn’t like to be told she’s wrong. ok hun."
After the ever dramatic Beach Party, the results of the public vote were revealed. Fans voted for their favourite couples and the four couples with the least votes were up for elimination.
Olivia and Maxwell, Claudia and Keenan, Rosie and Casey, and Tayna and Shaq were all up for elimination, but it was Olivia and Maxwell who received the lowest amount of votes and were dumped from the island.
But the shocking twists did not end there. Maya Jama then announced a second couple would be eliminated from the island - and it would be down to Olivia and Maxwell. Fans were left on tenterhooks when the show ended immediately after this bombshell.
One viewer said: "The producers giving Olivia the final say is nasty!"
"Olivia stop acting like it's hard to dump a couple. You love talking s*** about them all," added another. "That was a twist liv and Maxwell chose who’s to be dumped next. Well it’s Claudia and Keenan then they should go," someone else commented.
But fans will have to wait till tomorrow to find out who Liv and Maxwell choose to dump from the island.
