Ex-Love Islander Amy Day has dubbed the latest series 'more PG'' than x-rated but thinks viewers are still loving the show.
The reality star, who appeared in the eight series shared her views as the long-awaited Movie Night returned to Love Island and brought all the usual drama along with it.
In an interview with Mark Dolan for GB News the 25-year-old said: “If anything there’s not enough s****ing! "No it’s very PG, it’s more PG now than it was back in the day."
And Amy hinted one of the reasons there is less steamy scenes on our screens could be the 'tighter' restrictions on alcohol in the Villa, claiming ITV producers run a 'tighter ship' than in previous years.
But despite the lack of bedroom action, Amy says viewers aren't bored with the show and are fascinated by watching the behaviour of others.
She added:“I don’t think people are necessarily more sick [of it] than they were before. I think it’s because we’re weirdly interested in human behaviour. I think for me, the whole experience and the experiment of Love Island is just so abnormal. You’re putting a bunch of people into a bubble to see how they can get through life. It’s almost a guinea pig.”
Meanwhile movie night had viewers hooked as tempers flared when Luca Bish, 23, shouted at Gemma after he witnessed throwback scenes of his partner's behaviour.
Shouting at dressage ride Gemma, 19, Luca, raged: 'If you wanna flirt then I'll flirt, get me a bombshell in here now!' as he lost his temper over her antics while his back was turned.
Ahead of the outburst, the boys and girls took part in a pub quiz, with the boys winning the second point and choosing to watch a clip entitled: 'She's just not that into you.'
The video showed an old clip of Dami reading Gemma's mind where he suggested that Luca was more into her than she was into him and predicted that her head could be turned if a bombshell ticked all her boxes.
Laughing Gemma replied: ''I don't think you're that far wrong with that you know!''
