Jess Harding and Sammy Root's romance will hit the rocks tomorrow night after tensions began to rise in the first instalment of Love Island this week.
In a teaser clip for Tuesday's episode, narrator Iain Stirling teased: "One...couple...implodes," as Jess and Sammy were seen clashing in the villa.
She tells him: "Don't walk away from, you want to make a scene," before adding: "I could have literally dropped you out two times, sitting around that fire pit. Yeah f**k off mate."
Sammy was seen shrugging off Jess' remarks before Maya Jama makes her dramatic entrance into the Love Island villa to deliver some news. What that news could be is currently a mystery.
In Monday's instalment, Sammy accused Jess of "playing a game" by pulling Mitch Taylor to one side for a chat after telling him she wasn't interested in getting to know him.
Sammy and Jess appeared to smooth things over and reconciled but later, he fuelled tensions again when he announced to the group he was "open" to meeting someone new.
In the 'situationships' challenge, the Islanders were tasked with correctly matching their partners' answers to progress to the finish line.
They were asked: "Girls, could your partner's head be turned by someone new?"
Sammy shocked everyone when he answered "yes" before adding: "I don't think I'm ready to cut myself off completely after a week-and-a-half of knowing someone. It's hard to believe if someone came in I wouldn't be interested in getting to know them."
After the challenge, Jess got close with Mitch again telling him her mum "would really like" him.
Mitch told Jess to "dump" Sammy before adding she knew "what she had to do".
Love Island viewers were left divided over over Jess and Sammy's behaviour as one tweeted: "I have to agree with sammy, jess is being childish now, she doesnt like mitch and we all know it #LoveIsland," and another said: "Isn’t Jess a bit hypocritical? She’s upset Sammy didn’t consider Leah’s feelings but she wouldn’t be considering Mitch’s if she used him as a tool for revenge. #loveIsland."
However, one fan disagreed: "#loveisland Good on you Jess. On the one hand Sammy's trying to control and also looking for get out clause with Mitch. Ick."
Another wrote: "unpopular opinion: jess and mitch are cute together #LoveIsland."
