Love Island 2022 viewers are expecting fireworks and maybe a "catfight", as the girls all took a liking to bombshell Davide on Monday night.
The show has its first couples for now, after a twist saw the public pair up the boys and girls for the first time ever.
But this is all set to change, as Davide learned at the end of the launch episode that he would pick a girl to couple up with - leaving one guy single.
As the launch night kicked off on Monday on ITV2, host Laura Whitmore headed to the brand new villa with some news.
Lining up the girls and preparing them for the matchmaking ahead, she soon dropped a bombshell.
Paige, Indiyah, Tasha, Amber and Gemma were expecting the boys, Dami, Liam, Ikenna, Andrew and Luca, to walk in one-by-one, giving them the chance to step forward for anyone they fancied.
But Laura told the girls: "Well girls, it’s time to couple up. There is something I haven’t told you yet - things are a little different this year.
"You thought you’d all be stepping forward for the boys you fancy the most. However, this is Love Island and you never know what to expect. For the first time ever, we asked the public to play cupid and pick the boy they thought you should couple up with."
As the results came in, and all of the boys and girls were given a partner, it was clear there could already be trouble in paradise.
As the couples began to get to know each other and their co-stars, they were rocked by a late arrival.
The girls were certainly liking what they saw when Davide made his way into the villa garden, and from then on most of the girls, if not all of them, admitted he was "their type on paper".
After a game of dares saw Tasha and Gemma both choosing to be romantic with him instead of their actual partners, a later discussion saw Paige also confess she liked him.
Amber and Indiyah also seemed keen, while Indiyah was not ruling out giving things a try with current partner Ikenna.
Just before the episode ended, Paige took her chance to have a private chat with the Italian hunk, just as he received the news that he would have to pick a girl to pair up with in 24 hours time.
Seeing how the girls were all over the newcomer, many viewers took to Twitter and predicted it wouldn't be long before a fight ensued.
Guessing the series 2022 drama was on the way, they guessed a "catfight" for the affections of Davide was just around the corner.
One fan said: "The girls ready to fight over davide."
Another agreed: "Episode 1 and I already sense a cat fight coming on," as a third added: "The girls when they start fighting over Davide."
A fourth viewer tweeted: "Davide knowing that all the girls are fighting for him," which was backed by another tweet that read: "All the girls are gonna fight for davide LOOOOL."
Love Island airs every night at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub.
