Love Island: Fresh hope for Dami as Dubliner fights to win back Indiyah

Hope was on the horizon for Dami and Indiyah on Love Island after last week’s brutal recoupling.

They both fell victim to the Casa Amor curse during last week’s Love Island, as they recoupled with new bombshells.

And in last night’s episode, Dubliner Dami was fighting to win Indiyah back as he revealed “it was always gonna be you” after claiming he had a connection with new girl Summer.

Indiyah was left unsure about continuing things with him after learning he had kissed Summer several times, while she remained respectful to their relationship throughout their time apart.

Dami said to Indiyah: “It was always gonna be you for me. Even when you left and stuff, it was always gonna be you.

“There was a possible connection there with Summer but I don’t feel like the way I feel like when we’re together. It’s incomparable to what I feel we have.

“I feel like it is with you, and if it’s not gonna be with you it is what it is, but I don’t feel like anyone else could come in and they’ll change the way I feel about you. I miss us a lot.”

Indiyah, who is currently coupled up with Deji, responded: “The vibe I get with you, I don’t get with anyone else.”

The couple have only engaged in one serious chat since their snappy argument during the recoupling on Thursday, with Indiyah quipping: “May the best heartbreaker win.”

During the conversation, Dami questioned: “So, are you done with me?”, as Indiyah explained she was initially coming back to continue their relationship.

Elsewhere in the villa, Jacques was on a mission to get back in Paige’s good books after Casa Amor and makes a plan to write her a note for her to find in bed.

Using lipstick, he wrote “Miss you honey bunz xx” on a piece of kitchen roll and hid it in her bed for her to find. Once Paige finds the note, Jacques tells her: “I’ve literally wanted to tell you all day that I’ve been missing you.” And Josh pulled Danica for a chat to let her know where his head is at.

Explaining how he’s feeling he admitted: “It’s just a tricky one for me, because I don’t know whether that spark for it to go to the next level is there at this present moment.”

Danica said: “I think for me, in Casa, I definitely thought there was something there. I feel like the momentum was lost when we came here, which I’m not gonna lie is upsetting because I really do think we matched quite well and we were actually getting on in Casa.”

The Islanders also found last night that the public have been voting for their favourite couple, and those with the fewest votes will be at risk of being dumped from the show.
